Construction Site CCTV Monitoring & Camera Surveillance

Open construction sites keep cement, steel, tools and machinery in the open. PICKEYE watches site cameras after work stops, so unauthorised entry or material movement can be reported straight away.

The challenge

Why construction sites need more than CCTV recording.

Cameras record what happens. Live camera surveillance by a trained operator means someone notices while it is happening.
  • Material in the open

Steel, cement and cables are easy to carry away from an open site.

  • Temporary boundaries

Sheet fencing and temporary gates are easy to cross.

  • Remote locations

Many sites are outside the city where guards are hard to supervise.

Camera surveillance areas we typically cover

A 12-hour plan from end of work to the next morning, plus Sundays and holidays, is the usual choice. Sites need cameras with power backup and a 4G or broadband connection.

Monitoring effectiveness depends on camera positioning, image quality, lighting, network connectivity and the agreed scope of service. We review these with you during the assessment.

  • Site gate
  • Material stacks and store
  • Machinery parking
  • Perimeter fencing
  • Labour camp entrance

What operators report

  • Entry after work hours
  • Movement near material stacks
  • Vehicles at the site gate

FAQ

Questions from construction sites

Our site does not have broadband. Can it still be monitored?

Often yes, using a 4G router, if the signal is strong enough for the number of cameras. We check this during the assessment.

Can monitoring move with us to the next site?

Yes. When a project ends, the plan can be moved to your next site after the cameras are set up there.
