CCTV Monitoring & Camera Surveillance for Residential Societies

Housing societies have many entry points, parking areas and common spaces, usually with only a few guards at the main gate. PICKEYE supports your security staff by watching society cameras live and informing the committee or supervisor about unusual activity.

The challenge

Why residential societies need more than CCTV recording.

Cameras record what happens. Live camera surveillance by a trained operator means someone notices while it is happening.
  • Few guards, many areas

The main gate guard cannot also watch the back gate, parking and terraces.

  • Vehicle and two-wheeler theft

Basement and open parking areas are common targets at night.

  • Unknown visitors

People entering through side gates or over walls are hard to notice.

Camera surveillance areas we typically cover

Most societies choose a 12-hour night plan covering gates, parking and walls.

Monitoring effectiveness depends on camera positioning, image quality, lighting, network connectivity and the agreed scope of service. We review these with you during the assessment.

  • Main and side gates
  • Basement and open parking
  • Boundary walls
  • Terrace and lift lobby
  • Clubhouse and common areas
  • Garbage and service areas

FAQ

Questions from residential societies

Who receives the alerts in a society?

Usually the security supervisor and one or two committee members. You decide the contact order, and we follow it.

Do residents’ privacy concerns apply?

We only monitor common-area cameras agreed with the society. We do not monitor cameras inside flats. The society should display CCTV signage in common areas.
